Avery cool vintage medal, modeled in 18k yellow gold, by the Italian maker UnoAerre. This pendant medal features a highly-unusual, beautifully-carved boxing ring motif,at the center of which we find the crossed arms of two boxers, wearing boxing gloves, ready to begin their bout! Between these arms the word "boxe" appears in stylized, angular block letters. A pattern of laurels sits at the bottom of the medal, beneath the ring's lowest rope. This medal is finished with a powdery bloom, which gives it a rich matteappearance and a high gold color. It is subtly textured on both sides.
This is an early UnoAerre piece; it is marked Uno AR (on the bail), 1 AR, and with the number 750 for purity. The carving is signed by the medalist, Manu, on the medal's face. This is the only example of this medal we've seen. Maybe you boxe?
